CUSTOMIZE YOUR BEA TOP END EDUCATION
Since BEA TOP END is a very comprehensive and robust middleware product, it has many features which may not be applicable to every customer. Additionally, although some features are important to an organization as a whole, they may not apply to each member within the organization. For example, an administrator may not be interested in learning how to program clients and servers. For these reasons, we offer a variety of one-day class modules from which customers can create their own customized BEA TOP END education. This method eliminates the cost of unnecessary training and allows customers to purchase only the modules which apply to them. Furthermore, our instructors travel on-site to provide the training, thus eliminating student travel expenses.

Describes the BEA TOP END Remote Services for Java (JRS) programming interface and how it is used. Using a java development tool, this hands-on course helps the students understand the JRS Java classes, methods, and internet security associated with programming in this environment.
ADVANCED BEA TOP END MODULES (1 DAY EACH)
A1)BEA TOP END Release 2 Base Feature Update
Uses a combination of classroom exercises and application examples to facilitate an understanding of the release 2 base features. Some of the topics discussed include: Enhanced Routing, Automatic Throughput Optimization (ATO), Message Sensitive Routing (MSR), and Balanced Routing.
A2)BEA TOP END Security
Discusses how to create a secure BEA TOP END system. Included in the discussion are security design methodology and security administrative tools.
A3)BEA TOP END Recoverable Transaction Queuing (RTQ)
Explains the structure, methodology, and use of Recoverable Transaction Queuing (RTQ). Class instruction will begin with a real-world problem, and students will incorporate RTQ as part of their solution.
A4)BEA TOP END Performance Tuning Workshop
Describes tuning methodologies, as well as UNIX and BEA TOP END tools which the student will use to create optimal throughput for a BEA TOP END system. Students will be introduced to some of the basic internal BEA TOP END communication mechanisms in order to understand potential bottle-necks.
